4. How We Share Your Information

KYC Verification Provider

We share identity documents with Didit (didit.me), our KYC provider, solely for identity verification as required by FINTRAC. Didit is bound by strict confidentiality obligations.

Banking Partners

We share necessary financial information with BMO and TD Bank solely to process your deposits and withdrawals.

Legal and Regulatory Obligations

We are required by law to disclose certain information to FINTRAC, including Large Cash Transaction Reports (over $10,000 CAD) and Suspicious Transaction Reports where required. We will not disclose your information to any other authority except where required by a valid court order or applicable law.

We do not share your personal information with any other third parties.

5. Cookies

Our website uses essential and functional cookies only. These are necessary for the operation of our platform and cannot be disabled. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. By using our website, you consent to our use of essential and functional cookies.

6. Data Retention

  • Transaction records and associated personal information are retained for a minimum of five (5) years as required by FINTRAC under PCMLTFA
  • Account information is retained for five (5) years following account closure
  • We may retain information longer where required by applicable law or court order

  • Secure cold storage for virtual currency assets
  • Two-factor authentication for account access
  • Regular security assessments and penetration testing

In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required by law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
